Zone 3 doesn’t get much love in the homesteading world. Most homesteading advice is written for longer growing seasons, bigger gardens, and milder winters.

We live differently.

Here in northern Minnesota, we grow what we can, gather what the woods give us, fill the freezer one season at a time, and preserve enough to carry us through winter.
